17 apartements, bergen op zoom
2002-2007
project in cooperation with prof. ir. Wim van den Bergh

At the ‘Bergse Plaat’, an area of expansion in Bergen op Zoom, six architects are to design six different urban villas, containing about fifteen appartments.
To gain maximal sun and the present of the best possible view, every apartment has at least one facade facing the south. All apartments are grouped around a central hall.
The lower level, with water and garden, offers the possibility to park cars or bicycles. The level holds the formal entrance, attainable through a wooden deck. Both levels are connected by a vide.
