This building, located in a new housing estate, is designed on a screen of nine squares, 5x5 meter each. The groundlevel of this house contains the parent’s bedroom. The other level, divided over three squares at the street side, contains the children’s space.
Divided over the same zone, the basement accomodates several storage rooms and one room, which is only accesible through reaching the core of the house. This room is lit by the submerged patio, which is connected with the surrounding garden through a basin and a cascade. The inner and outer spaces show several forms of seclusion, from the open garden, only surrounded by a few concrete plates, to the completely hidden patio beneath the cascade. This is designed to guarantee privacy for it’s habitants; it’s facades does not show it’s floor plan.
